I must admit that i have never polished a car by myself... i have always send it out to a detailer's shop with all my other cars... but the beetle... i was just a little afraid to do so... With the help and guidance of a friend who is also a beetle owner... i set out to polish the beetle
..Before polish....................................................After polish
Isn't that a beautiful sight.....

I'm in Austin Texas. I'm in the process of breaking my '62 Beetle's engine apart and I found your website. I've used your blog as an excuse tonight to stop working and enjoy the owls in the backyard while reading. That's quite a long journey. I'm hoping mine isn't so long as I used her as my daily driver and am stuck with my motorcycle until I get her working again. The Beetle may not be the fanciest car in the world, but you gotta love it for its perfection. Take care.
Hi Kevin, Thanks for stopping by... yeah it was a long journey... but worth the sweat, tears, time and money... :D
Glad you liked all my blog post... now... go out there and work on your bug... send me progress pics if you can...
What a pretty car - my parents had one like that back in the 1960s (before me) and I have always had a hankering for one.
tu as décidé de me faire rêver avec tes voitures, ça fonctionne :)
Thanks Chris!
I've always wanted a beetle but have never had the money or time to fix one up. This beetle has been restored very well.
This is one of my favourite vintage cars. I am amazed at how you have kept it in such a good condition. After polish it looks as good as new. You have done a great job in renovation of this car. Fabulous work!
